Sanctum Spa -setting the atmosphere for total relaxation!

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

Tucked away at the back of the fabulous Peppers Beach Club you will find Sanctum Spa. Shrouded in Bougainvilleas, the atmosphere is that of total relaxation. Upon arrival a refreshing cool towel and a glass of iced tea, set the mood for indulgent pampering. After changing and locking away the real world I began my journey into exquisite relaxation.

My treatments began with the “Waterfall Retreat” Lying on the beautiful timber massage table, under the warm waters from the Vichy’s multiple pulsating jets, a thorough exfoliation and massage experience had me in complete relaxation. My muscles were released of all tension and stress. My therapist, Yuki has amazingly strong hands and was able to release all my tired sore muscles.

I then floated over to the adjacent treatment room for my “Purifying” Facial. Yuki was able to create a deep cleansing, purifying facial based on my own skin type. I lost track of the varying cleansers, exfoliates and ointments used including the exclusive Purifying Serum designed with pure and enriching ingredients from the Phytomer range of products to bring out the very best in your own skin. This combined with the shoulders and arm massage had me floating on a cloud. This facial was without a doubt the most relaxing experience I have ever had.

The spa therapist Yuki left me feeling very pampered due to her skilful talent and expertise.  I would certainly recommend this Spa for those wanting to experience the very best that, Palm Cove as the “Spa Capital of Australia” has to offer!

My Wonderful Day at Sebel Reef House Spa

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

My trip to the spa was to experience the delights of the Coconut Cream Ocean Wave.  Having been to a number of spas over time I must say that nothing compares to the Reef House Spa.   On entering the spa I found the staff to be very friendly and they made me feel sooo ………. relaxed before I had even started my spa treatment.
My treatment started with a relaxing foot soak whilst the spa therapist advised what the rest of my treatment would entail.  After the foot soak it was now time for the treatment to begin.  Warm oil was rubbed over my body after which the warm coconut cream was applied which I must say smelt fantastic.  After the cream is applied I was then exfoliated from head to toe then wrapt all up nice and cosy and left to rest.  During the rest period I was once again treated to a mini facial massage. Ahh Bliss! The treatment was finished off with a Vichy shower were the warm water gently massages all over your skin, it left me feeling very relaxed and extremely clean!  I would have to say that the Coconut Wrap was my favorite the smell of the coconut cream was just heavenly!

The Spa uses botanics from the tropics and the surrounding sea.  Over all I had one of the most relaxing day in my life…  Thank you Reef House Spa Whitney Hillen The Tour Specialists Palm cove
